Refilwe Kgwebane is a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with over 10 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, and commercial fit-out projects. She has worked extensively as both a contractor’s and client’s QS, specializing in contract administration, cost management, and project financial control.

 

She has played a key role in engineering and brownfield projects, covering Civil/Structural Steel, Mechanical, Piping, and Water Treatment sectors. As a Project Services Manager, she oversees cost control, budget forecasting, contract administration, and risk management, ensuring projects align with financial and operational goals.

 

Refilwe holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from the University of the Witwatersrand.

 

Her commitment to precision, efficiency, and cost optimization makes her an invaluable asset to Bruco Group and its clients.

Pierre Bruwer serves as the Managing Director of Bruco Group, bringing over 16 years of experience in quantity surveying and construction management. Pierre holds a B-Tech degree in Quantity Surveying and is a registered Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). His extensive experience spans a wide range of sectors, including commercial developments, mining operations, and engineering projects.

 

Pierre is recognized for his expertise in cost management, project estimation, contract administration, and risk mitigation. His strong communication and negotiation skills, combined with a passion for excellence, enable him to lead projects effectively and deliver high-quality results. As Managing Director, Pierre oversees the strategic direction of the company, ensuring that Bruco Group consistently meets and exceeds client expectations.

Jared is a seasoned civil engineer with over 32 years of diverse experience in the fields of civil engineering, project management, and business development. His career has spanned multiple sectors including mining, mineral processing, construction, and financial services, where he has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and technical expertise.

 

With an MBA complementing his technical background, Jared has held key roles in companies, where he managed large-scale EPCM projects, focusing on waste stream management, tailings dam construction, and mineral reclamation. He also spearheaded business units with over 700 employees, delivering civil engineering services, tailings operations, and infrastructure projects for high-profile mining and industrial clients.
